Brits say there’s no place like home

A new tool has just been launched to help motorists map put bookable and free experiences close to home.

Road Trips Near Me has been launched by Culture Trip which reports a huge increase in searches for UK roadtrips.

Data shows that Brits are most likely to set their sights on seaside town Bournemouth, which has seen a 704% increase in interest since lockdown restrictions were eased.

Culture Trip’s new Road Trips Near Me tool comes as the global travel and leisure industry adjusts to new consumer behaviours, with the third quarter of 2020 set to see far higher interest in local experiences and attractions because of international travel restrictions still in place and consumers looking to make the most of the summer in their own country.
