Hendy Car Store tees off new partnership with golfer Billy McKenzie

Hampshire golfer Billy McKenzie is set to travel to tournaments in style this season thanks to a new sponsorship partnership with Hendy Car Store.

A sign-written all-new Kia Sportage is part of the sponsorship of the professional golfer who has a busy schedule this year on the PGA EuroPro tour which takes in events around the UK.

Billy, who is based at Rowlands Castle Golf Club in Portsmouth, said he was thrilled to join forces with Hendy Car Store and that the Sportage was perfect to carry all of his clubs and kit while he is travelling around.

“Knowing that I can travel in comfort and in a reliable vehicle makes a huge difference to my preparation,” said Billy. “This year is set to be an exciting one for me as I look to continue the good form in my amateur career in the professional world, so thanks to the team at Hendy Car Store for the invaluable support.”

Billy’s career has already included winning multiple high profile amateur events, including The Berkshire Trophy, The Tillman Trophy and The Spanish Amateur Championship while also representing the England Elite Squad in France, Chile and South Africa.

He joins Hendy’s existing ambassadors which include professional golfer Georgia Hall, Olympic gold medalists Alex Danson and Dani King, Harry Redknapp, and British Touring Car driver Árón Taylor-Smith.
