Hendy Group opens order books for new MOKE Military Collection

Hendy has opened the order books for the brand new MOKE Military Collection after the new model made its hugely successful debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

 

Hendy chief executive Paul Hendy said the Military Collection proved a real draw for visitors at the Festival of Speed.

“Since being appointed the sole UK dealer for MOKE last year we have seen first-hand the interest and excitement there is in the car and we are thrilled that the Military Collection is already creating a real buzz with potential buyers,” said Paul.

“The MOKE’s origins are as a military vehicle so it is fitting that we celebrate the car’s heritage with the Military Collection.”

The Military Collection is available in Army Green, Air Force Blue and a striking Special Ops Black. The price of  £24,950 includes UK VAT and registration costs.

 

Each model has colour matched wheels, tactical front light and military themed design features. A new visual treatment to the vehicle’s roll bars and canvas further evoke the utilitarian and tactical origins of the design brief.

Today’s MOKEs remain true to the look and feel of the original, with a particular focus on maintaining the sense of fun and freedom that has endeared the car to so many for more than five decades. Updates include a new 4 cylinder, fuel injection engine, uprated suspension, braking and the option for either automatic transmission or manual.

The vehicle is also slightly larger to provide more cabin space. Features previously viewed as a luxury like power steering and heated windscreen now, of course, come as standard.
