Toyota to debut new cars in Tokyo

Toyota Gazoo Racing will present the world premiere of a GR GT3 concept car and a fully tuned version of the GR Yaris at the Tokyo Auto Salon customised car exhibition this week.

They represent TGR’s continuing work to create ever-better cars bred from motorsport, drawing on its participation in top-level international competition, including the FIA World Rally (WRC) and World Endurance (WEC) Championships, and domestic race and rally series worldwide. The technology and know-how gained from these activities is used in the creation of new cars for the road.

The show will also feature the Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 Hybrid that won all its races in the Hypercar class of the WEC in 2021, together with TGR cars entered in Japan’s leading motorsports competitions. TGR will also showcase some its new heritage parts, being made available for classic Toyota sports cars such as Supra and the AE86 Corolla.
